Chris Romero

Chris is from Santa Fe, New Mexico, and spent years in La Paz, Bolivia, Denver, Albuquerque, then Austin, before moving to New York City. He is a competitive road cyclist, mountain biker, and skier with a life-long connection to the outdoors. Chris also has a background in music that drives many of his creative endeavors and holds a Masters in Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin.

An accomplished creative leader with expertise in User Experience Design, Digital and Experiential platforms, Product Development, and Brand. Chris has an established track record including groundbreaking work for Calvin Klein, CFDA, XBOX, HP, Nokia, and Cadillac. He is equally effective advising core business stakeholders and senior leadership on high-level creative initiatives, and executing on those initiatives through development, iterative design process, and production. He is a polished presenter who provides critical feedback, ideation, and creative solutions that shape process and culture within an organization. He sits with his team and effectively drives work both at a high level and through hands-on craft with great attention to detail, fit and finish.

Recognized for his highly creative work and ability to collaborate across an organization, Chris has an exceptional-eye and a knack for producing elevated experiences and solutions across media, platforms, and domains. He has built and led large international teams with a proven network of top-level specialists in design technology, storytelling, music and film, interaction design, animation, VR, data-analytics, and UX research.

Chris is a founding member of the graduate faculty of the Art, Media, and Technology Program at Parsons, The New School of Design in New York City.
